EXPERIENCE

Mr. Leftwich is a licensed attorney and has been involved in public accounting for over 40 years. He demonstrates an exceptional expertise in business consulting, taxation and estate planning as they apply to the middle market, privately held, family-owned businesses. He is frequently in demand as a guest speaker on local television and radio programs and has appeared before many Chicago business groups throughout his career addressing critical topics, such as, “Understanding Financial Statements” and “Succession and Estate Planning.” He also conducts classes on “Establishing Good Accounting Procedures” and “Utilizing Financial Statements as Management Tools” for various training sessions in the Chicago area.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Horwich Coleman Levin LLC, Mr. Leftwich was a Partner at Benjamin & Birkstein, PC, a public accounting and consulting firm located in Chicago. Prior to the formation of Benjamin & Birkstein, in 1997, he was a Principal with Hochfelder, Birkstein, Benjamin & Weber, Ltd. Previously, he was the Founder and Managing Principal of H. Leftwich & Associates.
